Leighton Meester Seeking Custody of Brother?

We know Leighton Meester is suing her mom. And getting sued by her mom. Now, new reports say she wants custody of her younger brother Lex as well.
Leighton regularly sent money to her mother, Constance Meester, who served as her daughter's manager before Leighton fired her earlier this year.
The actress, 25, says this money for her brother's health needs, and that her mother used the money to get cosmetic surgeries for herself instead.

It is not known how old Lex is, or what condition(s) he suffers from. But Constance just countersued Leighton, claiming she owes her even more ... and that the 25-year-old actress came at her wielding a bottle.
Now The Roommate star just wants to make sure Lex is alright.
"Leighton is disgusted by her mother and is determined to get her brother Lex out of that situation," an insider reveals. "She wants Lex to leave their mother's California home and come to live with her in New York."
According to the lawsuit, Leighton provided her family with money out of the goodness of her heart, but she's now tired of her mom's lifestyle.
Lex, short for Alexander, recently had brain surgery, Radar reports. While Leighton has supported him willingly, she says her mom abuses this.
"[Constance] is healthy and able to work, but refuses to do so. She expects her daughter [Leighton] to support her financially," the lawsuit states.
"Leighton is really close to her brother, so she just hates that she can't be there to help him more," the source said. "She's worried for him."
Here's hoping this gets resolved ... as well as it can.

Lindsay Lohan: Taking Shoplifting Classes

Career train wreck Lindsay Lohan has been taking shoplifting alternative classes, as ordered by a judge. The hilarious thing? Shoplifting alternative classes exist.
The first lesson? Don't steal jewelry that doesn't belong to you.
Hard to wrap your head around, we know. Lohan must also do 360 hours of court-ordered community service at the Downtown Women's Center. But has she?

Not so far, although she has done about 45 of the 360, and a source says, "Lindsay does have a full year to comply with all terms of community service."
Lindsay also has to do 100 hours at the L.A. County morgue, which she has not yet started. "Lindsay is dreading that aspect the most," the insider says.
Lindsay must appear in front of Judge Stephanie Sautner on October 19 for a progress report. Judging by the last meeting they had, it might not go well.

Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez were spotted with their clothes on this weekend.
Following the disturbing news that these two are subject of a naked, religion-based statue, Justin and Selena strolled through a mall in Philadelphia, bodyguard in tow, and stopped at Smoothie King for a snack.

Taylor Momsen Retires From Acting

Taylor Momsen just turned 18.
That's still extremely young, but the Pretty Reckless singer told Elle magazine that she has "quit acting" and wants to focus solely on her music career:
"I quit Gossip Girl and now tour and am in a band. That's pretty much all I want to do. Hopefully, I'll be able to only do that for the rest of my life."

In November, Momsen began an "indefinite hiatus" from Gossip Girl amid numerous headlines about her shocking wardrobe and interviews.
In May, the CW confirmed that next season, she would not reprise her role as Jenny Humphrey. Jessica Szohr is also gone as Vanessa Abrams.
As far as Momsen's concerned, it's all good with her plans.
"[Music] is all I ever wanted to do with my life," she says.
"I've dreamed of wanting to make records and tour, so it's very exciting that our first record is coming out and people can actually hear it."

She may be inappropriate, but Taylor Momsen is now legal at least.
Now 18, the Gossip Girl actress, model and Pretty Reckless singer can now vote, buy a lotto ticket, purchase the cigarettes she's fond of smoking, and marry a groupie in a quickie Vegas wedding without parental consent! Sweet!

Joe Jonas and Taylor Swift to Get Back Together?

With a new album on the way, Joe Jonas is about to embark on a solo career.
But an insider tells Us Weekly the singer wants to make sweet music again with another famous artist: ex-girlfriend Taylor Swift!

Might we soon witness the return of Toe?

"He wants her back," the tabloid claims. "He wants to show her he's a changed man and would love to see what's possible between them."

Joe, of course, infamously dumped Taylor via a 27-second phone call in 2008, which led to back-and-forth barbs by the artists in multiple singles.

Swift recounted the split in "Forever and Always" and then went after Joe's, rebound, Camilla Belle, in "Better Than Revenge" and in this interview. Jonas, meanwhile, sang about "superstars and all the tears on her guitar" in "Much Better."

But now the pair is "testing the waters" for a relationship, a source says, adding: "They're putting their past behind them. And maybe rekindling an old flame."

Taylor Swift Nominated for Entertainer of the Year at CMAs

She can rap, she can pose tastefully for a fragrance ad and she can definitely cross genres.
It was announced today that Taylor Swift, one of the most beloved pop stars of her generation, has been nominated for five Country Music Awards. Among them? Entertainer of the Year!

Swift will go up against five men in that category - Jason Aldean, Brad Paisley, Blake Shelton and Keith Urban - while she's also among the nominees for Female Vocalist of the Year along with Sara Evans, Miranda Lambert, Carrie Underwood and Martina McBride.

Consider the contrasting fragrance ads released by these stars this week, as Kim promotes "Gold" with an accentuation of her only valuable asset, while Taylor goes a more innocent, magical route in the following campaign for "Wonderstruck."

Named after an "Enchanted" song, “Wonderstruck represents that magical feeling of promise and hope and intrigue," Swift says of the perfume, which comes out in October. "It was fascinating to learn that you could layer so many different scents to create a beautiful end result.”

Britney Spears' Medical Records Sought in Lawsuit

A company suing pop star Britney Spears for cutting them out of a perfume deal is trying to gain access to her medical records to prove she can't testify.
At issue is the court-ordered conservatorship she is still under after her behavior in 2007-08, which she is citing as the reason for not giving a deposition.
Her father, Jamie, and attorneys control Spears' affairs.

Britney will not be required to give a deposition to Brand Sense, which claims that it helped negotiate a perfume deal for Spears but was cut out of profits.
Brand Sense wanted to see records proving Spears couldn't testify. But L.A. Superior Court Judge Reva Goetz ruled that Brand Sense has no standing.
